POLI 324: The Congress

I hope the transition to online courses is going smoothly for all of you. Due to the fact that it is advising season, many of you will be having virtual advising meetings in the coming weeks if you have not had one already. If you are still in need of Upper Level Political Science Courses to complete your major, I would recommend looking into POLI 324: The Congress. The course explores the tension between the representative Congress as the collection of individual members with idiosyncratic, local, divergent needs and the lawmaking Congress as a collective body with shared, national, convergent responsibilities.
