Strengthening police accountability and community relations
Andrew Reinel (MPP student) has being working with other members of the Community Oversight Task Force (COTF) (appointed by Mayor Pugh in 2017) to make recommendations on how to strengthen mechanisms of civilian oversight over BPD, as mandated by the Consent Decree between the Department of Justice, Baltimore City, and the Baltimore Police Department.
