Iran Maria Razcon Echeagaray successfully presents

The Language, Literacy, and Culture Program is pleased to announce that Iran Maria Razcon Echeagaray of LLC Cohort 26 successfully and skillfully presented her dissertation research proposal on May 22, 2026.

Maria's project is titled, Writing Fanfiction in the Spanish as a Heritage Language Classroom.  Following a successful presentation, Maria and the committee discussed plans for the next phase of the dissertation.  The committee affirmed the value of the proposed research and shared suggestions to help Maria shape its continued development.
