Xixellonje Nebihu successfully presents

her dissertation research proposal

The Language, Literacy, and Culture Program is pleased to announce that Xixellonje Nebihu of LLC Cohort 26 successfully and skillfully presented her dissertation research proposal on May 19, 2026.

Xixa's project is titled, Teaching for Peace Through Language: Educators’ Understandings, Practices, and Institutional ContextsAfter her presentation, Xixa had a substantive discussion with her committee about the next stages of her work. The committee agreed that the project is worthy of doctoral research and helped Xixa consider some key issues as she moves forward into the research and writing.
