MEMS Iannone Travel Abroad Fellowship

The Caroline Iannone Travel Abroad Fellowship provides around $1200 to go towards a MEMS student's research abroad. 

This year is the third year we are offering this award. 

Past winners include Amina Thiam (History) and Leonardo Swafford (English), and both went on to do amazing work from the research they did.

Supplementary questions applicants will need to answer are:

1. Where do you plan to travel and what archive(s) will you visit? Have you made sure the archives will be open during your stay? Have you gotten any approvals you might need from the archives to visit?
2. What are the goals of your research? How do you imagine using your findings?
3. This scholarship covers $1200 in travel expenses. What is your plan for obtaining the rest of the money needed for this trip?
