Michael Hunt Successfully Presents

his dissertation research proposal

The Language, Literacy, and Culture Program is pleased to announce that Michael Hunt of LLC Cohort 21 successfully and skillfully presented his dissertation research proposal to his committee on March 12, 2024.

Michael's project is titled, The Voices of Mentees: Exploration of Holistic Critical Mentoring with the UMBC McNair Scholars Program.

After his presentation, Michael had a substantive discussion with the committee about the next stages of his work. The committee agreed that the project is worthy of doctoral research and helped Michael consider some key issues as he moves forward into the research and writing.
