What is ICARE?
ICARE (Interdisciplinary Consortium for Applied Research in the Environment) is a cross-sector network of environmental scientists and engineers committed to increasing the diversity of the environmental workforce and engaging communities in local environmental research in and around Baltimore. We administer an NSF-funded research training grant for UMBC masters students in environmental sciences and engineering, and this luncheon will celebrate our amazing trainees and their research networks.
What is CoNavigator?
CoNavigator is a hands-on 3-dimensional concept-mapping tool developed by scientists in Copenhagen, and we use it to map out trainee research projects. Trainees will conavigate their projects with their research mentor teams for half the day and present a poster during the other half.

We hope you can join us! If you have any questions about this event, please reach out to icare@umbc.edu!

Sincerely,

The ICARE Team
