The
UMBC Department of Education Research Seminar series continues with a
presentation by Keisha McIntosh Allen, Corey Carter, and Jackie Peng.
They will discuss a study that systematically investigates the
framework of learning teaching as an interpretive process (LTIP)
advanced by Etta Ruth Hollins
and its impact on the learning outcomes of teacher candidates who are
Sherman Program scholars at UMBC. The study uses naturalistic,
constructivist qualitative inquiry methods, which assume that meaning
can be made based on observations in natural rather than controlled
contexts.
All members of the
