Shenita Denson Successfully Presents

her Dissertation Research Proposal

The LLC Program is pleased to announce that Shenita Denson of Cohort 22 successfully and skillfully presented her dissertation research proposal to her committee on February 4, 2022.

Shenita's project is titled, Retrospective Storytelling, Meaning-Making, and Generativity (The Passing Down of Wisdom): Black Intergenerational Stories about Love.

After Shenita's presentation, she had a substantive discussion with the committee about the next stages of her work. Her committee agreed that the project is worthy of doctoral research and helped Shenita consider some key issues as she moves forward into the research and writing.
