Advising Update

Advising season is quickly approaching! I want to give you a few updates and reminders regarding academic advising. 

First off, the schedule of classes for the Fall of 2021 is now set to be released this coming Monday, March 29th. Therefore, you should start thinking about reaching out to your political science faculty advisor to schedule an advising appointment. Remember, you will not be able to register for Fall classes until you have been granted clearance by your faculty advisor. You should aim to schedule your advising meeting before the date that registration opens for you personally. This date is based on how many credits you have and can be found on your myumbc page. If you do not know who your faculty advisor is or do not believe you have been assigned a faculty advisor yet, please reach out to me at polisciadvising@umbc.edu.
