Join us on 10/22 for a panel presentation exploring the connections between photojournalism and social issues, including food and labor. 

The panel will feature photographers from the region who will discuss the influence of Lewis Hine on their photographic practices and how their own work engages with these themes.

 Featured panelists include: Shae McCoy, NT Kanazawich, Joe Giordano, Louie Palu, and Thalia Juarez

Light snacks will be provided by Mera Kitchen Collective.

This event is co-organized by the Department of American Studies, the Orser Center for Public Humanities, and the AOK Gallery at UMBC. It is sponsored by Maryland State Art Council's Maryland Folklife Network.
