“Let the Dead In” features Saida Agostini, a queer Afro-Guyanese poet, trauma-informed social worker, cultural worker, and facilitator. 

Agostini released her first collection of poems, let the dead in, on March 26th, 2022. These poems explore themes of Black queer liberation, pleasure, intimate partner violence, intergenerational trauma, Guyanese mythology, and fatness. During the event she will give a poetry reading followed by a Q&A with a moderator before opening the conversation to audience participation.
