Public Policy Professor John Rennie Short and alumna Lina Martínez recently published an article in the journal Geography Compass. The article, "The urban effects of the emerging middle class in the global south," examines the impact of Southern countries' growing middle-class on consumption patterns, housing markets and, urban politics.
