Apply for Alternative Spring Break!

ASB consists of several student-run, week-long, service-learning trips, which provide an opportunity for students to learn about and address social issues by working with community partners, policy makers, and government representatives in the Baltimore area. This year’s trips focus on:

• Public Health

• Health Education

• Food Access & Food Insecurity

• Economic Disparity

The application is available here or can be found at tinyurl.com/ASB2018UMBC. Applications are Due November 22, 2017, by 11:59 p.m.

Each trip is led by a Trip Leader and all trips will take place in Baltimore to better connect students to the city and introduce them to opportunities for long-term community engagement beyond ASB.
