UMBC Music Faculty to Perform at Carnegie Hall
Ms. Jacqueline Pollauf, professor of harp, will be performing at the Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall in New York City on Friday December 9, 2016. Ms. Pollauf will be collaborating with soprano Yulia Petrachuk on a program titled "On the Wings of Winter - Word and Melody", which will include artsongs by Rachmaninoff, Debussy, Duparc, and more. Their program will prominently feature the world premiere of Russian song cycle “Russian Winter” for soprano and virtuoso harp by American composer Emmanuel M. Dubois alongside operatic arias and duets by Gounod, Mozart, Lehar, and many others.
