Frank Anderson (Cohort 18) featured on CBS Baltimore report
Frank Anderson, Cohort 18, has been recently featured on a CBS report. The piece is on the announcement of the $1.6 million partnership between UMBC, Baltimore Public Schools, and the Northrop Group Foundation to boost initiatives inside three Baltimore schools. Frank works with the Choice program, a community-based, family-centered case management approach to delinquency prevention and youth development.
The report includes Jamal Karim, a Choice youth, talking about his sound recording presentation with Anna Rubin (Music department) at the recent IA conference in Baltimore. Also LLC student Rehana Shafi (Cohort 14), who directs the Sherman Scholars Program, is quoted in the written article.
