Revolution of the Eye makes its debut in New York

Maurice Berger's exhibition opens to accolades

Revolution of the Eye, the first exhibition to explore the relationship between modern art and early American television has made a big splash with its recent opening at The Jewish Museum, NYC. The exhibition is curated by Dr. Maurice Berger, Research Professor and Chief Curator, Center for Art, Design and Visual Culture, UMBC, and curator, National Jewish Archive of Broadcasting, the Jewish Museum, New York. 

The exhibit has been cited in ARTFORUMArt in America, and Art NewsRevolution of the Eye was named  critic's pick in the Village VoiceTime Out New York, and AM NY, adding to great press coverage in the New York TimesWired MagazineThe Huffington Post, and US News

This stunning Abbott Miller designed exhibition will be on view at the Jewish Museum through September 27, 2015, and then will embark upon a national tour (through 2017): Nova Southeastern University Museum of Art Fort Lauderdale; The Addison Gallery of American Art, Andover, MA; Center for Art, Design, and Visual Culture, University of Maryland, Baltimore County; Smart Museum of Art, The University of Chicago.
