Shani Fleming Successfully Presents
her Dissertation Research Proposal
The Language, Literacy, and Culture Program is pleased to announce that Shani Fleming of LLC Cohort 14 successfully and skillfully presented her dissertation research proposal to her committee on May 10, 2023.
Please join us in congratulating Shani on reaching this significant milestone!
Shani's project is titled, Exploring the Impact of Academic Credentialing on the
Black Physician Assistant Workforce.

After
her presentation, Shani had a substantive discussion with the
committee about the next stages of her work. Her committee agreed that
the project is worthy of doctoral research and helped Shani consider
some key issues as she moves forward into the research and writing.
