Scholarship for Summer Interns

The Department of Political Science is pleased to announce the availability of support for students who wish to pursue an unpaid internship in any field of political science or public policy. One $2,000 award will be offered for Summer 2022.

There are four main criteria for the award: 1) good academic standing (GPA of 3.0 or above); 2) completion of at least 12 credits in Political Science; 3) a brief essay to explain how the unpaid internship will benefit you; and 4) an assessment of financial need (assessed through the FAFSA form - if you haven't already done so, please file a FAFSA form (https://fafsa.gov/) so that your financial need can be considered by the Financial Aid Office).
