Art and Poli Sci Meet with Panel featuring Dr. Grodsky

Check out this exciting climate focused event 4/4/22 at 5pm

In conjunction with the exhibition Louie Palu: Distant Early Warning, the Albin O. Kuhn Library Gallery presents a participatory installation and a panel discussion.

On Monday, April 4th from 12 to 5 p.m., the public is invited to view a set of four ice block installations near the entrance to the Albin O. Kuhn Library, each of which will gradually melt to reveal an enclosed photograph from the exhibition. A simultaneous hands-on display will be located inside the Gallery.

At 5 p.m. inside the Gallery, please join us for a panel discussion featuring artist Louie Palu with Nathan Kurtz, Ph.D. 09, physics, Chief of NASAs Cryospheric Sciences Laboratory, Deputy Project Scientist for NASAs ICESat-2 satellite mission, and Brian Grodsky, Professor of Comparative Politics and Chair of the Political Science Department.
