Zareen Taj publishes Op-Ed on the Plight of Afghan Women

Zareen Taj (LLC Cohort 22) has just written an op-ed in MsMagazine.com entitled, "The U.S. Has a Moral Obligation Toward Afghan Women."

After fleeing her native Afghanistan as a refugee and becoming a naturalized U.S. citizen, Zareen continues to advocate for Afghan women. She seeks changes to the humanitarian parole application process so that more Afghan nationals can safely come to the United States on a temporary basis.
