The Untold Range—Maryland, by Stuart Saunders Smith, is a 34-minute soundscape of the wilderness areas of Maryland. It is scored for 1-5 percussionists and pre-recorded sounds of water, mountains, birds of all kinds, sea creatures, among others. The purpose of The Untold Range—Maryland is to amplify the forests and sea of this wonderful state and make it known.
