On April 22nd, at 4pm in the AOK Library Gallery, MCS, GWST and the Asian Studies Program will be hosting Ms. Li Haipei (http://my.umbc.edu/groups/mcs/events/24072). 

Ms. Li Haipei will be sharing parts of her documentary, Probing Happiness on the Borders of China, as well as her newest work on unwed mothers in Beijing.  We hope you are able to join us!

Ms. Li Haipei is an independent documentary director with 14 years of experience. Having studied mass communication and audio-visual art in China and France, Li worked at CCTV (China Central Television) and BOCOG (Beijing Organizing Committee of Olympic Games). Prior to founding her own media production company, Li had interviewed Arnold Schwarzenegger, Nicole Kidman, Yoko Ono, I.M.Pei, Yundi Li, Placido Domigo, among others.
