The Political Science Council of Majors cordially invites you to join us in celebrating the 240thanniversary of the Boston Tea Party at our very own revolutionary event: The Baltimore Tea Party!
The Baltimore Tea Party will be held in Lecture Hall 1 (UMBC's movie theater) on December 4th during free hour from 12 PM – 1 PM. The event will be lecture-based and will feature UMBC’s very own Dr. Laura Hussey and Dr. Martin Kobren from the Political Science Department. The speakers will discuss both the political and the historical impact of the Boston Tea Party. This event is open to any and all who wish to attend. At the conclusion of the lecture, there will be an Authentic Tea Party, complete with tea, wafers, and small finger sandwiches, held to celebrate this legendary event in American history.
