CAHSS Staff Achievement Awards

We are pleased to announce two new College-level awards to recognize the outstanding work and dedication of our staff. These awards will typically be given one each to exempt and non-exempt staff. The awards will be made annually and provide a stipend of $750 each.

The awards are intended to recognize achievements and contributions in the following areas:

  • Superior job performance
  • Superior service to the Department, students, colleagues, the College, and the University
  • Dedication to the Department and College
  • Outstanding contribution, problem-solving, or willingness take on new or challenging tasks
  • Going above and beyond expectations to support the Department, students, colleagues, the College, and the University

The nominee must be a current employee of CAHSS, employed for at least three year, and have received at least “effective” on their last PMP. Individuals may not self-nominate, and may nominate only one employee for consideration in each category. Nominations of College staff from outside the College will be accepted.

The nomination must include the following information: name of nominee, title, length of service, home Department, and nominee’s supervisor. Also, please provide a brief statement in support of the nomination (1 page maximum).

Nominations will be reviewed by a committee of College staff.  We expect that awardees will serve on future committees.
