IMDA grad students warmly invite you to their Open Studio event from 10am-4pm, followed by a reception from 4-6.  Come and view new work and work in progress, talk to artists about their studio practice, eat delicious food and enjoy some wine!

The Intermedia and Digital Arts (IMDA) graduate program is committed to investigating transformations of emerging artistic practices, especially those that give rise to new processes that pose unique conceptual and social challenges. Our students have pursued issues of place, language, identity, economics, and technology in both intellectual and formal terms, resulting in projects such as street interventions, distributed networks, physical computing, installations, performances, sculptural objects, prints, drawings, photographs, videos, interactive pieces, and other socially engaged works.

This year they are welcoming two guest speakers, Greg Bowen and Oletha DeVane! They will be discussing their artistic practices and lives as creative professionals.
