As you may recall, this past Fall Semester, the College convened a Faculty Advisory Committee on Teaching and Learning. Among other things, the Committee was asked to design a process to award faculty members small grants to promote research on and to improve teaching and pedagogy. I am very pleased to forward to you the first call for proposals from the Committee. Please note that from here forward, awards will be made once each semester.
I would also like to thank the Committee--Donald Snyder and Susanne Sutton, co-chairs, Suzanne Braunschweig, Margie Burns, Lisa Cella, Meredith Oyen, and Bing Ma--for all of their hard work and thoughtful planning throughout this process.
