Appearance on "WX Geeks"
This Sunday, May 3, at noon, UMBC's Jeff Halverson will be appearing on The Weather Channel on a program titled WX Geeks. He will be discussing how NASA has used technology such as satellites and drones to study hurricanes.
WX Geeks is a relatively new talk show that premiered on The Weather Channel last July. The show, "produced by meteorologists for geeks," according to the show's Twitter account, runs Sundays at noon.
